Trusted clinical sources
Setting upCareWise answers come from a small, curated set of approved clinical guidelines, government health resources, and international health authority documents — not from blogs, forums, social media, or web search.
Source corpus not indexed yet. Run `npm run ingest` after adding approved PDFs.
What counts as a trusted source
A source is trusted only if it meets all of these conditions: it is published by a government health authority, national clinical standards body, or major peer-reviewed journal; it has a clear publication date and a documented review process; its claims are appropriate for a general parent audience; and it has been manually reviewed before inclusion.
Trusted does not mean popular, well-written, or frequently referenced online. Popularity and repetition are not the same as evidence quality.

What CareWise does when a source is missing
If the approved corpus does not contain a trusted source for a question, CareWise will say so plainly: "I don't have a trusted source for this question." It will not guess, speculate, or draw from unapproved materials.
